What is an Accredited Service Provider Level 3?
A Level 3 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) is responsible for designing and documenting the requirements for contestable services in accordance with design information, standards and specifications prepared by the local electricity distributor, as well as all applicable laws and regulations concerning the protection of the environment, amongst other matters.
The services that can be provided by a Level 3 ASP consist of designing distribution works on, or intended for connection to the networks operated by the electricity distributors.
Our Level 3 ASP Services
Wilken can take care of all of your Level 3 ASP requirements up to 132kV, including the design and construction of the following:
Overhead (O/H)
Design and install and relocation of overhead service lines to the point of common coupling, replacement of fuse(s) etc.
Underground (U/G)
Design, installation, disconnection, and connecting underground service lines up to the point of supply.
Switchboards & RMU
Design and install of high voltage switchboards, ring main unit (RMU), SMU, mains upgrades as well as high voltage switchgear.
High & Low Voltage
High and Low Voltage Cable jointing, live pot end seals, T-jointing, paper-lead jointing, substation “fit offs” and cable testing.
Street & Area Lighting
Streetscape design and installation of street lights, traffic signal installation, parks and landscaping.
Substations
Design and install of Zone, Chamber and Padmount Kiosk Substations, including transmission lines, earthing grid, cabling.
