Atlassian Central Project

The Atlassian Central project is Sydney’s newest technology and innovation precinct, known as Tech Central. The 39-storey building will be the world’s tallest hybrid timber and steel building constructed adjacent to Sydney’s Central Station and over the existing heritage listed Parcel Shed and former YHA. Wilken has been engaged by head contractor Built Obayashi to undertake the level1 ASP works for the construction of Atlassian Central.

Wilken’s Contribution

- Supply and installation of kiosk/padmount substations and triple chambers
- Non-destructive excavation
- Modification of existing Ausgrid electrical infrastructure and construction of new electrical asset to power supply for the new mixed development
- Construction of electrical civil infrastructure in accordance with certified designs
