Taronga Zoo – Sumatran Tiger Adventure High Voltage Cable Replacement

Project Location: Taronga Zoo – Bradleys Head Rd, Mosman, NSW,2088, Australia

Company: Wilken Service Pty Ltd

Client: Taronga Conservation Society Australia

As part of Taronga’s Centenary celebrations, construction is commencing soon on a new Sumatran Tiger experience scheduled to open in 2017.

As part of the development of the new tiger habitat, the living area for the Sumatran Tigers will increase three fold and visitors will be able to view the tigers from various points including a themed ranger outpost. The tigers will have a magnificent old fig tree to climb that will be contained within their exhibit and they’ll be able to safely explore their areas at night.

Wilken is working directly with Taronga Conservation Society Australia to divert the existing High Voltage cabling to enable the new building works to commence.
