Sydney Ambulance Metropolitan Infrastructure Strategy (SAMIS)

Project Location: Bankstown, Liverpool, Blacktown, Penrith and Northmead

Company: Wilken Electrical Service

Client: Hansen Yuncken Pty Ltd
Contract Value: $1.8 Million

Wilken Electrical Service was engaged to complete the complete Electrical, Data, Dry Fire and Security Installation of the western Sydney sector of these works.

Once the Sites were handed over to the Builder we were the first contractor on site to install the temporary site power to the amenities and start the installation of the inground service reticulation of Conduits and pits for the electrical and communication networks for the buildings.

Wilken was also included in the design phase of the project with Wilken putting forward an alternative lighting package to reduce the costs for the client.

The Electrical works included the supply and install of a Main Switchboard, Distribution board and a UPS Switchboard that was used to feed the Communication Rack and other essential systems used in the ambulance station.

As the Liverpool station was one of the first to be built in the state there were many changes made throughout the construction which made it a challenge to complete.

At Penrith and Northmead we were also engaged for the Level 1 works which included the installation of a new High Voltage Kiosk for Endeavour Energy on each site.
